Die GSTF setzt sich seit jeher für Erhalt und Pflege der tibetischen Kultur ein. Im Rahmen dieses Bestrebens entstand 2013 der tibetfocus-Kulturpreis – ein Wettbewerb, der tibetischen Kulturschaffenden eine Plattform bietet, ihre Werke und Darbietungen zu präsentieren. Der Wettbewerb war ein so grosser Erfolg, dass der GSTF-Vorstand entschied, ihn fortan alle 5 Jahre durchzuführen. Und nun ist es wieder so weit. Im März 2018 findet die nächste Preisverleihung statt.

tibetfocus – Kulturpreis 2.0 der GSTF
Wir möchten die Tibeterinnen und Tibeter in Europa dazu ermuntern, uns einen kreativen und originellen Beitrag mit Bezug zur Heimat Tibet und seiner Kultur einzusenden. Dabei spielt es keine Rolle, ob es sich um ein Kunstwerk, einen kurzen Filmbeitrag, eine Kaligraphie, ein Musikstück, eine Aktion, eine schriftliche Arbeit oder völlig anderes Kulturprojekt handelt – der Fantasie sollen fast keine Grenzen gesetzt sein. An der Preisverleihung am GSTF-Jubiläumsfest im März 2018 werden die besten Beiträge mit einer Gesamtpreissumme von CHF 5‘000.- prämiert.
Teilnahmebedingungen:
- Wichtigstes Kriterium ist, dass der Beitrag inhaltlich einen direkten Bezug zu Tibet und zur tibetischen Kultur hat.
- Mitmachen können Personen jeden Alters mit tibetischen Wurzeln (mindestens ein Elternteil muss tibetische Wurzeln haben).
- Teilnehmer/ -innen müssen ihren Wohnsitz in Europa haben
- Anmelde- und Einsendefristen müssen eingehalten werden.
- Es muss sich dabei um eine eigenständige Arbeit handeln. Kopien und Plagiate werden nicht berücksichtigt!
- Arbeiten mit tibetischem Text in Wort und Schrift müssen durch einen Text auf Deutsch oder Englisch erläutert werden.
Wie kann man teilnehmen?
- Die Anmeldung muss bis zum 30. April 2017 per Mail an kulturpreis2018@gstf.org erfolgen.
- Mit der Anmeldung muss bereits Titel und Thema des Beitrags angegeben werden.
- Die Teilnehmer/ -innen erhält nach erfolgreicher Anmeldung eine Bestätigung.
- Der Originalbeitrag (Werk) oder eine entsprechende Dokumentation müssen bis zum 31. August 2017 an kulturpreis2018@gstf.org oder GSTF-Geschäftstelle, Binzstrasse 15, 8045 Zürich eingesandt werden.
Die Jury und das OK-tibetfocus-Kulturpreis 2.0 (bestehend aus ausgewählten Experten, Mitgliedern des Vorstandes und der tibetfocus-Redaktion) freuen sich auf ideenreiche, ausgefallene, spannende, unkonventionelle und vielseitige Ideen!
tibetfocus – GSTF Cultural Award 2.0
We would like to encourage Tibetans in Europe to entry a creative and witty contribution with reference to our home country Tibet and its culture. Yet it doesn’t matter whether it is about a work of art, a film report, a calligraphy, a piece of music, a happening, a paper or a completely different cultural project. Prime contributions will get an award out of a total price amount of CHF 5’000.– on the occasion of the GSTV anniversary celebrations in March 2018.
Conditions of entry:
- Chief concern: The contribution must show a straight reference to Tibet and the Tibetan culture.
- Participation is granted to any person of any age, however with Tibetan roots (i.e. that at least one parent has to have Tibetan roots).
- Participants must have their place of residence in Europe.
- Registration periods and closing dates are compulsory.
- Any piece of work must be genuine. Copies and plagiarisms will be rejected.
- Works in Tibetan language or text must be provided with an explanatory wording in German or English.
How to participate:
- Entry must take place until April 30, 2017 by email to kulturpreis2018@gstf.org
- Title and subject matter of the contribution have to be reported together with the entry proceedings.
- Participants will receive a note of confirmation the moment the entry has been accepted.
- Actual contributions (works, works of art) or relevant documentations must be sent to kulturpreis2018@gstf.org or forwarded to GSTF-Geschäftsstelle, Binzstrasse 15, 8045 Zürich.
