Military drill for schoolchildren

School children in Tibet have recently been forced to complete military exercises as a must, Voice of Tibet reports. The four-week training started on the 18. August at a school in Lhasa and will be a must in the transition from primary to secondary education throughout Tibet. Staying away penalties are threatened.

In Lhasa, children who were not older than 9 years were training. The program includes marching, firearms handling, swimming and melee combat. The official directives not only make training a must-have, but also remind students that military skills served "a better China".

  1. I believe that Tibetan children should be saved from such a Chinese brainwashing! Especially if China will rush the drilled children like bloodhounds to their own Tibetan people later!
