Sponsorship for rejected Tibetan refugees

At present, almost 300 rejected Tibetan asylum seekers live as sans-papers in Switzerland. They receive emergency aid and live in shelters. A hardship application after five years is the only option for most people to obtain a residence permit.

With the project “Sponsorship for rejected Tibetan refugees” we would like to provide integration assistance for Tibetan refugees by bringing them together with sponsors. This enables them to improve their knowledge of German, receive help with everyday issues and can thus actively participate in life in Switzerland. The chances of success also increase when submitting a hardship application, as well as after receiving the permit, and when taking advantage of professional opportunities.
